Useoneofthefollowingverificationoptions:
a. Log in to your VMware vSphere Client.
b. In the vSphere client's left pane, right-click on your vmPRO appliance and select EditSettings to display the
VirtualMachineProperties dialog box.

c. Select the Hardware tab as needed, and verify that a new virtual disk is added each time a VM disk is backed
up.
Limitation with Mismatched Block Size
When using HotAdd Transport, the Virtual Machine File System (VMFS) block size must be the same in
both the datastore containing the backed-up VM disk and the datastore containing the proxy VM. Keep in
mind that your vmPRO appliance is standing in as the proxy for the original VM from which the disk is
backed-up.
