Setup
Quantum Scalar 50 User’s Guide 84
To perform an action on a tape drive(s)
1 Sele
ct a cabinet and enter a tape drive number
2 Sele
ct the action to perform (power off, power on, or reset).
Caution: Ens
ure that the tape drive does not contain a tape
cartridge prior to powering down the tape drive.
3 Click
Apply to perform the action.
The drive actions are performed.
Setup
The Setup page is divided into the following sections:

Note: If you power a tape drive off from the Drives page and
then power the tape drive back on, the tape drive must
then be reset to be operational. The complete process from
the
Drives page is, power the tape drive off, power the tape
drive on, reset the tape drive.
