When integrating an FC device to the customer SAN, the SE must document the customer’s SAN
configuration using the information provided in Table 26
. The SE should then review the completed
information with the ADIC Pathlight VX Compatibility Guide on CS Web, and anticipate and resolve any
compatibility issues. Please contact Service Program Management for more information.
Host Parameters:
For the Name parameter, valid values are: any alphanumeric combination allowed by the FC
Host.
For the OS & Level parameter, valid values are: any valid operating system (including AIX, AS/
400, LINUX, HP-UX, or NT), including their version and release numbers.
HBA Parameters:
For the Vendor parameter, specify the vendor of the HBA used by the customer.
For the Model parameter, specify the HBA model used by the customer.
For the Driver parameter, specify the HBA driver used by the customer.
For the Version parameter, valid values are the version and release level of the HBA host.
