26 Gathering Systems Assurance Information

Table 16 is a checklist that verifies specific parameters have been set up correctly for support notification.

verifies that you are ready to configure system notifications. When enabled, a system notification

sends e-mail to the designated recipient when Pathlight VX events and conditions occur that require repair

or warn of an impending system failure.

Table 18

verifies you are ready to configure the enclosure notifications for a AX100SC disk subsystem.

Setting up e-mail notification for the AX100SC enclosures is NOT the same as setting up a support or

system notification for the Pathlight VX. The procedures to set up Pathlight VX support and system e-mail

notifications apply to events and conditions detected on the entire system and all Pathlight VX components.
