Releasing Magazines
114 Quantum Scalar i40 and Scalar i80 User’s Guide
Operator Panel
1 Select Actions > I/E > Unlock I/E Station.
2 Sele
ct which I/E station to unlock, and press Unlock.
3 W
ait until the screen displays the “magazine is now unlocked”
message (see Figure
26 on page 114), then pull outward on the
magazine bezel handle to open the I/E station.
If you do not open the magazine within 30 seconds, it locks and you
recei
ve a diagnostic ticket.

confirm.

ait until the Web client displays the Success message, then pull
outward on the magazine bezel handle to open the I/E station.
If you do not open the magazine within 30 seconds, it locks and you
recei
ve a diagnostic ticket.
Releasing Magazines
Magazines are locked during normal operation. Before you open or
completely remove a magazine, you must release it, either via the user
interface or manually.
